POSTAL SERVICE EXPANDS REACH
OF MONEY TRANSFER SERVICE
INSERT YOUR DATELINE (Example: Washington, D.C.) – Sure Money®, the Postal Service’s international wire transfer service, which is also called Dinero Seguro®, has expanded its reach to Latin America and the Caribbean.
Available to Mexico since 1996, Sure Money now provides customers with the ability to transfer money to nine additional countries. They are the Caribbean country of the Dominican Republic; and the Latin American countries of Argentina; Colombia; Ecuador; El Salvador; Guatemala; Honduras; Nicaragua; and Peru.
Customers can send up to $2,000 per transaction by submitting and presenting the appropriate form, available at participating Post Offices, and the corresponding fee, to one of that office’s window clerks. Identification is required for transfers exceeding $1,000.

Sure Money uses secure, electronic wire transfers between the Postal Service and thousands of participating partner branch offices in destinating countries. There are no hidden or additional fees. The recipient’s funds are available in the destinating country within 15 minutes – guaranteed.

Dinero Seguro, servicio que ya estaba disponible para México desde 1996, brinda a los clientes la capacidad de transferir dinero a otros nueve países: República Dominicana (DO), en el Caribe, y Argentina (AR), Colombia (CO), Ecuador (EC), El Salvador (SV), Guatemala (GT), Honduras (HN), Nicaragua (NI) y Perú (PE) en Latinoamérica.
